Seriously considering doing something like this to my Burb.

Here is drqwing Zumo from here on the board did. I am going to have him change the front to Vermillion (cinnimon red metalic) to see what it would really look like with factory color front and off white top like it was on the build sheet.

I know a guy that installs firedoors between attatched garages and the house.He does wood grain painting on the house side of the door.Hard to tell the difference.It "wood" look cool!

Step away from the crack pipe, take a deep breath, think Ricardo Monteban, Corinthian leather and Volare!

Interesting concept, but tough to pull off. If you use stickers or paint, it'll look PT Cruiser-ish, if you opt for clad it with similated woodgrain spaceage resin material, it'll look like an 80's Lebaron wagon IMO. I like the idea of Vermillion with white top, that's classy!

IIT SURE WOOD NOT LOOK LIKE THOSE TURDS~!
If I did this thing I would find the nicest cuts of cypress or maybe even bamboo wood and do it 100% woodie. Bamboo and Cypress when carbonated are 100% bug and weather proof. It would not need tons of work after it was done like normal woodies. It would be a Total Surf truck.
Probably Not going to happen though as I am probably going to go VER/Off White stock. I wish I had a pic of how this truck was new. I believe the top was off white and the rest VER or off white bottom and VER the rest of the way up. Does anyone know how the 68 two tones were done?

So you're talking a true woodie, not an applique one. One like this would be cool but you'd need a lot of patience and skills. My uncle restored one of these once, talk about a tank!

Still think VER/Off white is going to be really sick. No wood. I can not imagine why they painted over the VER. Maybe only VER on the inside? Who knows~! I guess when I start sanding I will find out~!

Is that last Woody shown a Suburban?That`s right,back when ours were called Carryalls Mopar had Suburban Station Wagons.

I want to build a real woody,as the real ones were built.It won`t be longer than a shortbed,like the 1/2t Carryalls.Yeah,alot of work.I figure I`ll combine my skills and get it done,someday.I like the painted woody idea,do it.

Actually I was able to find Plymouth Fury Suburbans as recent as 1978.
I, also have the opportunity to buy a '68 Plymouth Sport Suburban. I would buy it if it was in better condition, simply because of the 383 Magnum that resides under it's hood.
