Re: saginaw question

I saw a couple (fresh) saginaws , behind a 325 hp motor run 25-30000 miles, with spirited street driving. My bet is it wont last long ,for the power you plan to run Back in the late 70's, I had a .060 over 283, in a 71 C -10. The old truck had 3.73 gears, "fuelie" heads on top, a 327/350 hp cam, 600 dp holley, headers ,ect. The powerband didnt hit , till 3500 -up, & I ripped more saginaws with that lil bioch, than I could count! A 6800-7000 rpm shift would claim about 1 a month(shread all the teeth off 2nd & the cluster).....the buds DID call me Capt clutch.....the loud peddle was on the metal when I shifted crazyL
