Unhappy Ford h series

Hi guys I know this a chevy and gmc focused forum but I have a question about the ford h series I know the history on the h series but I'm curious as of how many are remaining since today I found out that I lived five minutes away from a truck stop that has two perfectly restored h series trucks but today I stopped in there and here I was in my jeep commander with everybody looking at me so I couldn't see it up close but I asked someone and they did say that it was a ford h series also another thing is that do we have any history of these trucks being listed up for sale on a website and what website would be the best to find one of these trucks for sale as I would love to own one of these trucks it's my dream truck or if anyone has a similar truck that I could act like it was a ford h series that looks just like it also I'm very sorry I know this probably isn't a correct spot to put this I did not know where to put this so I assume here last but not least please understand that I was fascinated with this truck for three years and I always had questions about the h series but never asked anyone on a forum

Re: Ford h series

Thanks for posting that.

I was wondering what an "H" was.

Re: Ford h series

Don't want to discourage you (I like the looks of the 'H' as well) but you are talking about one of the worst class 8 trucks ever built! The cabs had severe rust issues and VERY few survived into the 70's, let alone today. The cab was a heavily modified Budd 'C' cab, and though many of those are still around not a lot of parts interchange with the H other than the doors and glass. Most H's were Cummins N powered, so at least if you find one you have a good shot at getting or keeping it running. Back in the day the H was called the 'Two Story Falcon'. I don't think it was a compliment!

Best of luck, I hope you find a good one.
