66 speedometer cable routing and grommet install

From the kit I have of firewall grommets that aren't identified I am pretty sure this is the speedometer grommet. I assume you cut a slit in it and separate the grommet and slide the cable through and pop the grommet into the hole in the floor? Its been a while since I took this apart and this is one of the things I didn't photograph the removal of. I think the clip on the outside of the firewall will hold the cable once I have it installed?

Thanks Rocknrod, I made the cut added some silicone and slid the cable and grommet in place. Is the clip on the outside firewall meant for the speedometer cable?

that little j looking clip thats attached to the outside firewall, under the other hole to the left of the speedometer plug. It may be for electrical wires?

That's not for the Speedo Cable.
