Has anyone put a 60-66 truck on a 72 frame? I have a good donor swb 72 c10 that I thought abou putting a 60 apache body on, was just wondering if anyone has tried this.

I've never tried this, but I know the frames LOOK different. I've never taken the time to compare. If you have the two factory manuals, you should be able to compare the measurements, right?

I have a 62 that was originally a torsion bar truck like I suppose yours is. Its still has the original frame, but the front end components were switched for that of a 72 or 73. It also has a 72 rearend. So it now has front disc brakes and 5 lug wheels. I would use your donor truck parts to do the same as opposed to using the whole chassis.
