Re: Drag Calculators

Wow, that one is VERY optimistic. I put in HP from a conservative dyno, and ET's are almost a 1/2 second optimistic,

I use Performance trends Engine and Drag analyzer. Usually pretty close but it has the ability to put in the full range from the dyno, sample aerodynamics factors, enviornmental, bla bla bla. It ought to be close.

Re: Drag Calculators

I think it's interesting that some drag calculators are more spot on for us individually.. The wallace one, says I should be .5 slower than what I really am.. Also, I tried changing a few things but retaining the same weight and HP.. Gearing did not affect it nor did number of shifts..

Re: Drag Calculators

I've actually had pretty good luck with TurboCalc. Its mostly for boosted engines but you can enter n/a stats and put 0 or 1 as psi and you should get the same results. and for those with boosted apps. you can get decent numbers out of it. Its got a variety of stuff on it form mph calcs for 1/4 mile and what not. I haven't really gotten to test it out completely yet. ( wow, I sound like a vendor ) Its not bad, but it asks you about a LOT of numbers that most of us don't have laying around on a cocktail napkin.
