1973 c20 accesory power

just installed a new radio in my truck, and it will not save my preset stations. Wondering if there is and ACC power switch or do i have have to just run a constant hot to it and remember to turn it off??

mine did the same thing....just run a new wire but check ur fuse first just incase

Most newer Head units need two power sources. One that is switched on when ignition is on, and one that is always hot. Check the diagram that came with the unit.

check the wiring diagram usually yellow is constant power and red is to the accessories or visa versa
