pricing and comparing

Hey guys, new here. I"m in search of a C-10. Was curious as what you look for when you are thinking about buying one. IE: How much rust is acceptable or what Modifications are good ones. My goal is to build or restore to O/E. I've only went to look at two so far. I've notcied that the trucks listed online for 2200 have more mods than the 800 trucks. Honestly the 800 are more of what i am looking for, They seem to be more Original than the 2200.00 ones. Thanks.

Re: pricing and comparing

Welcome aboard. If your going todo a ground up, I personally would go for a complete truck that hadn't been touched ($800). Unless they have supporting pics of the work done like rust repair especially. It could turn into a box of worms, if you know what I mean. Do you have any experience with old cars?

I think the rust thing depends on the area you live at. Around here everything is rusted. If you want a $800 truck go buy one. Then start a build thread, spend some $$ and enjoy. Welcome
