I was wondering if someone had any idea how tough it is to change out heater cores on a 79 K10? No AC.

The real question. When I click my left turn signal on, the indicator just stays lit green, it does not blink, but if I just hold it down and then let it up it will blink normally. Occasionally it will blink as it is supposed to, any ideas where to start?

My 81' with A/C took about 2.5 hours to do the heater core. And that was the first time I had ever done one. Not to hard at all.

For the blinker I would start with checking all your bulbs, you may have one out. And then check the turn signal flasher on the fuse block.

The heater core is not that bad at all to replace. As for your turn signal problem, it sounds like you have a faulty turn signal switch which is mounted beneath the steering wheel. This to is easy to replace once you get the steering wheel off and have a compressor tool to comp[ress the plate. If you turn on your emergency flashers and they flash without a problem, then the problem is most definitely in the turn signal switch.

if you go to a chain auto parts store like autozone they can print out step by step instructions on how to do the heater core and the turn signal switch as long as you buy the parts from them.
The heater core isnt so bad on a non ac truck and the turn signal switch is easy too just make sure you have the proper tool to remove the lock ring under the steering wheel
