What is the recommended front wheel width and back spacing for trucks with a dropmember?

I'm running 20x8.5" with 4.5" backspacing. works fine for me. no rubbing with 70lbs of air which is a little less than I use at ride height. Some guys go with a little more backspacing.

I'm running a 20X8.5 with a 5.25BS in the Front.

It's going to be a 26" rim. I don't know the rim width or the tire size yet, but I do know the overall height will be 31-1/4".

how about a 265 35 22 on a 22 by 9 inch wheel? or may be a 305 40 22 which i could get a real sweet price on tires, on the 22 by 9's on a 90 burb

What size tire would that be?
I think ill be at that size with some rubber band 24's so im most likely going with 22 in front to be safe

I recall seeing 64.5" front disc brake track width. Pre-71 trucks were 62" rear width; post-71 were 64-ish (wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface).

is that stock? or drop member track?.....?

That's stock track width..... DM track width would be 62" from memory.
