Road trip! Met some guys! Got parts! Pics!

Left grand rapids sat am heading for southern MN. First stop was nicollet for a friends B-day. Beer and pork roasts. Ryan (dieselwrencher) and brothers69c10 came up from iowa to grab some parts and enjoy a cold one. Next morning went to st.peter to pick up my california shortbed that has been sitting there over 2 years. The guy i got it from made a trailer out of it for me to get it home. He also had a nice dr door and a hood and a pair of inner fenders i picked up. So far so good. Next stop, juds place. (vintage windmills) To pickup parts that i have purchased from him and a bunch of parts he hauled up from randys (teeitup) place. I should have took more pics i know. Put on about 580 miles without any trouble and met some good guys along the way. Thanks for all the parts running guys!
That is my story and i am sticking to it! Enjoy.

This was the first i had seen the box in person and was quite pleased. Story is it was a govt. or state truck in cali. Very clean. Only problems are a few extra holes drilled here and there. Even the gate is super nice. I better get busy on my project now...

Sounds like a great trip Eric. Ryan and Matt are good people, glad you got to meet up with them. That looks to be a nice bed and the trailer idea made it easy.

Road trips are the best especially when you get nice parts and a nice short bed like that

Jud, didn't have time for the show after catching up with my uncle, that took awhile there.
Ray, it was a good road trip... Nothing broke!
