05 dodge ram seats?????

I recently found an entire set of black 05 dodge ram seats front and back for 100 bucks, should i go for it and get em? i see on ebay the front set alone sells for 300 dollars but i really do like the look of the buckets with the jump seat like the factory bucket buddies.

here's my only problem i have a bench in my truck from like a late 70s chevy that i had reupholstered with a custom bowtie and black tweed and vinyl. it's a good looking seat but the driver side foam is starting to wear pretty uneven so i sit crooked going down the road and it's been making my back hurt. do i sacrifice comfort for looks or put the buckets in?

Go grab them and if you dont like them it seems like you can get your money back on a resale pretty easy...

I think they will look better then a bench anyway....

Re: 05 dodge ram seats?????

that was kind of my thought, does anybody know how well they fit in the truck overall? i saw one build threat using 07 seats and they looked alright. it was hard to tell though because the doors were open. i'm fairly tall being 6' 1" and need leg room

Re: 05 dodge ram seats?????

I don't know what my seat came out of (got it off craigslist) but it's kinda like what you are talking about with buckets and a jump seat in the middle. I am 6' and with the tank in the cab and the brackets I made to raise the seat a couple inches I am way more comfortable now than compared to the late 70's bench that was basically sitting on the floor when I bought my truck if that helps any. Now I just can't wait to move the gas tank to under the bed for a little more room.

Re: 05 dodge ram seats?????

I had some late model Chevy pickup seats in my '70 but I didn't like how they looked in the truck - the headrests didn't look right to me. Got another one with no headrest, and they worked fine.
