Disc Brake Conversion Question

I have scanned over the disc brake conversion threads and haven't found(may have missed it) the part number for the adapter sleeve to mate the 73-87 tie rod ends to the 63-70 steering linkage. I am changing to the later A-arms and spindles but want to keep all the older equipment. Anyone have this part number handy? I asked at my local parts store and got the "what year model?... what exterior color and did that have a rear defroster?" bit. Why cant parts stores hire car guys anymore?! Thanks for any help yall can give.

Re: Disc Brake Conversion Question

IMO it is a whole lot simpler to just change the entire steering linkage to the '73-'87 components. This is what I have always done with front disc brake conversions. That also makes it easier to remember what part is for what year truck, when you need replacement parts.
