Cam suggestion?

cam suggestion?
alright i have a 502 shortblock afr 325cc heads engine has about 9.75 static comp. running a strip dominator intake and thinking a 950 holley gonna be running this in a 72 chevy sw truck should be in the 3600-3700lb range. ive browsed the internet for build up and looked at diff sizes of camshafts. ive read a build up they did on a 502 that supposivley made 740 hp with my setup except heads were 315s. camshaft they ran was 661/668 254/260 112ls(i thought camshaft was a lil small) any suggestions? that being said a buddy of mine has same short block with 325cc iron heads his 502 has 8.75 static comp and a 714.714 262/270 his truck is very impressive low 11s on motor and ran a 10.03 and missed 2nd gear truck weighs about 3700-3800lbs basically i want the best bang for the buck and outrun him(grudge match)
any help would be appreciated

thanks

Re: Cam suggestion?

That 950 won't be big enough. Remember the Holley 80496 950 HP flows just a little over 800 cfm. You'll need a 950 that flows 950 cfm.
