I need a pic of 454 tbi

I got the motor back in my crew cab and remember for the life of me how the map sensor mounts to the intake. A pic from the right side with the air cleaner off would be a life saver.

Re: I need a pic of 454 tbi

Here you go my brother.

Keep in mind, my heater hoses are not routed stock. Notice I have plugged the ports in the adapter under the tbi unit. Because of this, my egr valve bracket interfered with the heater hose beneath it so I modified the bracket to cant it up and give the needed clearance.

Re: I need a pic of 454 tbi

The hard plastic line on the top bib of the egr solenoid comes from the throttle body. The lower bib on the solenoid has a rubber hose running from it to the egr valve itself. It was originally a plastic hose but was too badly damaged so I just substituted rubber in its place.

Thanks a ton. Guys like you and others on the forum are what makes this forum the BEST. PM me your address and I will send you some QCS swag. Mine's not stock either. It has an Edelbrock tbi intake and I figured I live in GA not Alaska so my heater hoses are routed just like yours. It getting close to camping & race season so the dually has to be back together.
