Brake warning light

So my red light has been on since for ever I thought it went it out once but then appeared again I traded gauge clusters recently not for that reason but to keep my tack and speed warning for my next project and low and behold red light is on in this cluster also..... I have replaced all brakes front and rear blead them long ago 6 mos or so with a good firm peddle fluid is up to level no fade with the booster any ideas why I have the warning light on
Thanks
Jz

Re: Brake warning light

disconnect the tan wire on the proportioning valve by the master cylinder and if the light goes out refer to this thread.

When the tan wire is grounded the light will come on. If the light stays on when you disconnect the wire then the wire is grounded somewhere in the circuit to the light.
