Re: AN fitting part # help needed.

These are what I am looking for, found this link on ls1tech finally. Does anyone know if russell, earls, or aeroquip makes these for steel pipes? The only ones I can find are for aluminum pipe.

Re: AN fitting part # help needed.

Why can't you use those on steel pipe (tubing)? I assume you mean steel tubing and not pipe.

Re: AN fitting part # help needed.

Swagelok is a unique kind of flexible / quick release for poly and soft tubing like air lines / lube fittings ets. But if it will work on a hard line like stainless ??? I don't see why not but I bet they have a special seal for harder materials. I'd give them a call to make sure.

The Aeroquip nuts and sleeve I linked work fine on a hard tube,, but if they make it all the way up to 3/8 is the question. you would just need one more adapter from 3/8 tube tp an-? I am sure they make it, just not common in hotrod stuff and listed on the normal atupmotive sites.

Yes Marv they work well on stainless steel. THe one he has a link to will work. And hold pressure up to 400 psi.
But it is best to consult with the manufacturer.

Re: AN fitting part # help needed.

What I am trying to do is put -6 AN fittings on my '80 truck fuel tank sender. The ls1tech guy's are running the swageloc adapters. I was just wanting to know if anyone else made something that would work, I live right by summit racing and would like to get them today if possible. I'm not in a real big hurry, just trying to get everything in one trip.
