....something is wrong with that set-up.
It looks like it has a extended longhorn box based on the apparent front box join point....BUT, its running 1/2 ton, 6 bolt axles, diff, wheels, etc and it doesn't look like the extended longhorn wheel base...just the std. 127".
Plus, it looks like the back end is a little bent? frame? just the box?
Hmmmm.

Re: Longhorn on Gov surplus site.

The wheelbase looks right? Bed looks right, you can see the "longbed" stake pockets all in place, then the extra 6" piece. They probably just did a half ton suspension swap, pretty common thing now a days.

What a shame. It looks like someone put a lot of time and $ into it, didn't finish it, then it got trashed? Definitely an aftermarket gate, looks like it was recently bent pretty bad in the middle.

Re: Longhorn on Gov surplus site.

I think the weird angle on the rear is due to flat or sunken tires (and the ground being unlevel as well).
Someone spent some time on that one. Wonder how it ended up on a gov't web auction site?

Seized by police in a drugs case or due to unpaid fines/taxes. Lots of ways the government legally takes over private property.
