Re: stick to auto swap

You will need these parts as well.

auto flex plate
auto starter
radiator with trans fluid cooler
torque converter lockup kit
you will need to have the drive shaft shortened
correct drive and driven gears for trans so speedometer works correctly

Re: stick to auto swap

I think the 700R4 crossmember bolt holes are father rearward than on your stock auto crossmember.

Make or buy trans cooler hard lines

Proper TV cable and carb bracket. Set-up is critical!

Dipstick & housing and a way to mount the housing to the engine

T/C dust cover

Modulator connection to manifold vacuum source

Back-up light switch

Park/Neutral safety switch

Your stock 2bbl engine will work best with a stock lock-up T/C. Transtar is a good source. See page 24 here: http://www.transtar1.com/download.as...talog_2012.pdf

I bought a TH350 (non-lock-up) T/C from them for approx $65 exchange. It has a 4-year/48,000 mile warranty.
