292 I6 wanted

Looking for a 292 I6 within 150 miles of the Minneapolis/St Paul Minnesota area (will consider a little further drive if neccessary). Does not need to run but must be rebuildable and complete with all brackets, pulleys, etc...

PM me or reply here if you have one and let me know what you are looking to get. I will come pick it up.

Thanks - Jeff

If Jeff is not interested in it I might possibly be. Don't want anyone to think I am trying to hustle him out of a deal. :p What is it out of.......or is it still in a vehicle? I am gonna be that way on vacation next week and might could swing by there. I think my lowered truck could haul it back if I air the bags up to 75 lbs or so.

Actually I am going to be in Gatlinburg but was thinking of heading to Tunica or possibly Biloxi so you would be kinda on the way. I notice Snead is kinda close to where I bought my GN from. Guy lived south of Birmingham I think. Car used to belong to Byron Bennett. If you are into Mustangs I am sure you know the name lol.

I will be leaving out next Thursday morning very early so if I could know something by then it would help greatly.

Brad

Have one available in Moneta, VA. It's a '65 292. Was a good running engine till a valve dropped. Has some piston top damage on one piston. Good engine for repair or rebuild. Will sell complete short block for $100 or complete engine less head for $200.

Chris go ahead and work out a deal with him. I have too many other things going right now so I wont be able to go ahead with this deal.

Btw Chris I was through Birmingham earlier ...........probably 9ish Sunday morning. Was on my way home. Long drive from Southern TN to NE Texas with a 5 hour layover in a casino in Shreveport that yielded a net loss of $20 lol

Will do Brad.

BTW, if you would have let me know, you could have dropped by and witnessed the Jimmy being cranked. Found out it apparently has a bad fuel pump.
