4L60 ECCCC confusion

1998 K1500, 5.7/4L60E. I picked up a transmission for a great price on liquidation - older guy that had a good reputation rebuilding them passed away, and the family liquidated the stock he had sitting on the shelf. But, after getting it home, I realized I had gotten an integral-bell trans. with a 4-bolt rear flange, and the truck has a separate BH with 6-bolt rear flange.

I already have the different T-case adapter and am aware of the change in the cooler lines - but finding the info of exactly how to deal with the EC3 system has me stumped.

The truck has EC3, and the rebuilt trans. has a PWM pump, but being the older style trans., is it even possible for it to be set up for EC3? It really doesn't bother me to delete the whole system and run a normal on/off lockup, I'm just bewildered as to how to accomplish that. I see notching a piece of one of the valves, I see removing a wire in the harness, I see full-blown shift kits with a bunch of different parts that get changed... any help is much appreciated!
