Rebuilder of door handle remotes???

Does anyone know of a rebuilder of door handle remotes?
I want to rebuild my driver door one because these 67 ones are HARD to find.

Another name for them is remotes. There may be more people that relate to that term. I do not know of anyone that rebuilds them. They are spot welded together and the internal springs are not available as far as I know. I have drilled a couple of them out to see how they were put together but never went any farther with them. If a person was real handy and had a spring bender I'm sure the springs could be made but I just didn't want to put that much time in them.....

what are these remotes that you guys are talking about? I have a '69 and i'm not aware of any type of remote.
