I agree on the rarity.......but wouldn’t have the oo to try and take off the woodgrain. This is a GM replacement piece I don’t believe one could get the chrome bezel as a GM replacement. I have seen a chrome bezel be re-chromed and an NOS wood grain installed back on that bezel after being re-chromed but was very expensive process.
