Week #2 on this site for CPP! You guys are unreal to say the least!

Alright guys we did it!! In one short week of being on this site i have a full head of gray hair! Just kidding guys, this place is a blast and i wanted to take a second and thank all you guys for your feedback good, bad or otherwise as it is very helpful to get your guys standpoint on things to try to better the industry! Last week i showcased about 5 items with tremendous success so this week we are going to switch the rolls to the members. What items do you guys need more info on as i would like to offer member only specials and and try to help assist in making some of these projects a reality! Thanks again guys for all the support! Also guys remember you have my personal e-mail and my phone # if anyone needs anything, but remember there is 60000 of you and only 1 of me.

Jeff,... thanks again for all your time on here.
You've done more for CPP's image than you can imagine.

Maybe you can promote a "free shipping" week.
That seems to help alot on all your heavy products.

Jeff-
A couple of weeks ago, you showcased the front shock reinforcement brackets. Do you also make these for the rear as well? It would be for an '83 half ton.

The previous owner wound up stick welding the original shock studs after they started to wallow out the holes. It's ugly. I can fix all of the bad welds, it's just that I like the idea of having an extra bracket holding the shock to the upper mount.

I live relatively local (High Desert) and can come down to your place to pick them up.

Yes we also have this for the rear 73-87 upper shock stud. We just made another batch and are waiting for the powder coater to return them; should be any day.

Hey Jeff,
I love everything CPP If I could order everything you guys sell for my truck I would do it!! I am curious about the sway bars for front and rear on my truck. I have a 55 chevy truck that has a drop axle and flip kit on the rear. I know your a busy man I have plenty of pictures on my build thread if you look. If you read any of it you can see that I sing CPP's praises all day LONG!!!

Jeff,
As we talked about on the phone; a hub option for your modular spindles that does NOT narrow the track width form factory discs for use with a dropmember as dropmembers already narrow the track 3/4" per side. That would allow people with dropmembers to upgrade to your 13" or 14" brakes without any concerns about wheel backspacing issues.

Perhaps make the hubs also available as standalone items for purchase when people want to change wheel specs.

I am also interested in this questions since I am installing a dropmember and wanted to use the 14" brake set up with the modular spindles...

I highly doubt this as being an option but i have thrown it at my engineer and we will need to see what he says. This kit was designed for stock trucks with a stock crossmember not anything else. Not saying its not possible but if its not as easy as just changing hubs and making a different bracket im sure at this point it will be a nogo, but lets see what they say.

Re: Week #2 on this site for CPP! You guys are unreal to say the least!

I've got your Modular spindles and also your booster/master cylinder with the integrated proportioning valve.

I've got the chassis almost completed but still waiting on paint and final assembly. So far no issues with the spindles. I've got high hopes for the master cylinder. It's a nice looking unit. I will post once the day comes I actually get to drive it!

Once it's on the road, it will be time for the 14" rotors!

Re: Week #2 on this site for CPP! You guys are unreal to say the least!

I have a set of your modular drop spindles on my 64 c-10. Right now I am running a stock disc brake setup on the spindles. I notice you advertise that these spindles work with many aftermarket brake kits (examples?). sometime in the future I would like to upgrade to larger brakes, however these days money is always a issue. Is there a larger factory disc setup that will fit these spindles? your 13 and 14 inch systems are very nice but also a little out of my price range.

Re: Week #2 on this site for CPP! You guys are unreal to say the least!

Aftermarket disc kits such as Wilwood and Baer, if $$ is an issue these days then you probably wont want to go that direction as they are the nicest stuff in the country, but with quality comes a hefty price.
