1/2 ton rear springs help
Where's the best place to get rear leaf springs for my 84? I'm pretty sure I have a pretty bad problem and I figured the best bet would be replacing both sides to make them even, the drivers side leans in bad, haven't measured, but just eyeing it looks like 2 inches or more.
ideas, or suggestions welcome... thanks. I'll try to get some pics of it leaning later.

Re: 1/2 ton rear springs help
I've been lookin a JC Whitney. Best prices so far but I can't jump until the wife says I can jump
![]() I picked up a 7 or 8 leaf packs today and they are obviously trash saggin. I gave the guy a 10 spot for the junk. The 8 leaf packs are longer but I have three sets now and I'm going to take them all appart and play mix and match. New is obviously the way to go but I think I'd like to go with 5 leafs for the extra weight capacity, even though the truck is lowered. I just need to find out which year and model they were on. And get my money away from the wife ![]() Last edited by 1LowToy; 03-28-2011 at 03:23 PM. |
