Factory Rear Swaybar Hard to come by

I have another one so back to the top This is a hard to come by FACTORY GM rear swaybar. Some trailering special duallys had these. If you have been looking for a factory rear bar or have tried some of the aftermarket stuff and aren't happy with it then this is for you! These will work on all trucks. 1/2ton, 3/4ton, and 1 tons. It includes all hardware. I would suggest all new bushings but you could get by with these. You MAY also need longer U bolts than your stock ones. I initially purchased this for my CCSB but there are too many parts laying around and with this heat I don't imagine putting this on anytime soon. $150 not including shipping

Re: Factory Rear Swaybar Hard to come by

Sorry about that. I fixed it. I know there are some pretty cheap aftermarket ones but they don't have the factory fit that GM meant for these trucks. I may be out of line on my price but don't have anything to compare it to as I have never seen one come up for sale.

Re: Factory Rear Swaybar Hard to come by

Seems like a good deal. I've been on these forums for like 3 years and this is either the 1st or second one I've seen. How do they mount? Just curious.

They actually mount very easy. The lower plates mount under the axle. The u shaped brackets and swaybar bushings mount to the plates. The link pins mount in front of the rear wheels to holes in the frame.

Here is a CL listing(not mine) that has a photo; just scroll down a bit.

1774btcrew; is this how it mounts or am I looking at an aftermarket type?

That is exactly how this one mounts. The factory ones mount so much nicer than most aftermarket ones.

Re: Factory Rear Swaybar Hard to come by

I responded to PM. I do appreciate the offer but I am going to stick to my price. These never come up for sale and I definately wouldn't mind putting it on my truck once the temperatures dip below 100. So probably mid October. Phoenix is HOT!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It has been a crazy week. I will check on shipping for you right now. I don't have any Daisy 5 spoke wheels at all at this time.

I haven't heard back from him. I will give him until Saturday night to hear back from him. If I haven't heard anything by them you can purchase it if you are still interested.

Re: Factory Rear Swaybar Hard to come by

Do you have another factory one (complete with spacers?). What price shipped to 35634 Florence, AL cheapest way (Greyhound?)

Need it to work with my coil spring rear (4" drop with adj. track bar) ion my 1968 C10 SWB.

Will go with Hellwig or ECE 1 1/16" front sway bar for my lowered truck (3.5" in the front 2.5" Mc Caughy dropped spindle and 1" dropped coil.

Thanks. Can PayPal. Tom
