Show some pic's of your interior

How about we start a thread to show of are interior, there are no threads dedicated to this. I don't have a pic to start with since my interior is on a shelf next to my project. But I want to see what you guys have.

And maybe if we get this going they can make a sticky out of this

Somd72 good start......... It can be plain Jane to 100% custom. It can be finished or under construction.

How about a couple of horrible "before" pics? Unfortunately they were taken last week.

Hi oldschool18,
I just finished the seat mounts in my '70 GMC Jimmy a couple weeks ago. The CST seats were gone and replaced with utility buckets. I don't like the highback seats in these trucks that well far as looks goes from the outside, but sitting in these will suit me real well comfort wise!

I'm grateful for the pictures of your yellow Jimmy interior as mine originally started out that color before being converted to rust and filth with some black paint thrown in. It makes me appreciate the possibilities. I wish my floors were as nice as yours. Oldschool18, thanks for starting this thread and here's a shout out from Pittsburgh.

Your shoulder belts are what interest me. You're using that threaded hole for the upper attach point, right? I asked a question about that once and was pretty much roundly told not a good idea. I'd love to see pics of your seatbelt setup!

Chris

You are welcome, Tristan, I am very fortunate to have a near rust-free tub. Why, I don't know. Mom never had anywhere inside to park it so 2001 was the first shelter it ever had.

Hello Chris, I will send you a pm. Don't need a firestorm to start as I have read all that too. I probably have a death wish as the wife and I even drive our '55 with no belts at all--LOL!

For me it boils down to what I can afford which aint much. My wife blew 3rd and 4th gear out of her 1997 Dodge Caravan a couple years ago, and it wasn't worth the repair cost. It is now a parts donor to my trucks and still a driveable storage shed. Pretty redneck huh? All this interior stuff came out of it and I always liked the comfort of these seats anyway. I need the front seat armrests and will build some for the rear seat too.

I don't want a roll cage so I'm dealing with what I have.

Later---DAC

They were stock depending on the package. They are pricey for repops.

Re: Show some pic's of your interior

I bought this truck about a month ago. Plans are to keep the interior mostly stock in appearance. I got some samples of the new Orange Plaid material, Wow is it bright! Trying to decide on keeping the bench seat or wrapping some buckets in the Plaid.
