did you actually need to do this? I got an LS1 out of a car, tossed on a oil pan from a truck, and you must replace the oil pickup, dipstick tube, dipstick and windage tray to adapt - the OEM dipstick tube and dipstick come bundled together, same as the oil pan and windage tray - and the truck dipstick tube plopped right into the car dipstick hole without a problem - simply used a different bolt hole to mount the dipstick (alternate hole was factory provisioned and tapped into the head)

Curious if this is not the case with the SSR or TB SS engines
