Post whats a strong 292ci and 10.5 posi worth?

Hi, I have a 78 3/4 ton I killed the muncie 465 in. I am trying to decide whether to part it out or stuff another tranny in and sell it. The 292ci is really strong but has a slight valve tick. May just need tightening. The rear end is a full floater 10.5" corporate rear. 3:73 posi. Posi works very well. The truck has heavy duty suspension front and rear which all seems in good shape. Trucks body is beat up and rusty but no where structural. Its almost a shame to part out such a good towing truck. Tows well and gets 20mpg doing it. I can't decide.
Thanks for any info.
