1997 gmc sas and other stuff.
Ok so I finally started on my pickup, actually the sas is almost done. I would have posted pictures awhile ago but I didn't have my computer.
Here it is when I got it. Except for the primer spots, It had a couple of dents that I got fixed. ![]() Then I put a two inch block in it, cranked the torsion bars, and got some different rims and tires really cheap. ![]() Then the work begins.10 bolt out. ![]() ![]() 14 bolt in, and changing gears. I added a leaf in the rear, and put in a five and a half inch block. ![]() IFS crap out. ![]() ![]() We got a sas kit from off road direct. Front spring hanger in. ![]() Rear spring mounts, and springs in. ![]() Dual shock hoops. ![]() Front axle. dana 60. ![]() Then replaced everything on the front axle. ![]() Front axle in and shocks on. ![]() I put a two inch spacer on the rear and a half inch on the front. Which made the rear 72 inches wide, and the front 71 and a half. so the front is only a half inch narrower. ![]() Heres what it looks like now. with 35 inch tall tires, and 16 inch rims. ![]() ![]() I also found a tonneau cover for only 80 dollars, heres the best pic I have of it. ![]() Heres it parked beside my jeep, which also has 35 inch tall tires on it, there about the same height. ![]() ![]() Last edited by rocking chevy; 08-21-2011 at 04:50 PM. |
