55 Chevy Brake pedal mount modification

Hi, Guys
Does any one have any Ideas on mounting a silverado brake pedal to a 55 3100 truck.
I was thinking on moving my emergency brake lever over to the driver side door and using my stock emergency brake bracket as a template for my swing pedal slicing the bracket level with the underside of the dash and welding some plates on each side. You can see the bracket it has some wide holes on ether side. Once I weld some sides to the bracket I can mount a bolt through so that the Pedal can be mounted. I also need to build another bracket for my emergency brake to hook to so it will look like my 55 ford that I had years ago it was mounted Vertical.
has any one made a bracket for this application?
Here are some pictures of my stock mounting bracket.

Thanks for your help
