Diesel badge differences 1978-80
This thread is mostly for informational purposes only to help others out in the future.
So, for the very few of you that own and/or care about the diesel trucks from 1978-80, I found some differences today between the badges for Chevy and GMC trucks. The Chevy badges are rounded on the corners and the GMC badges are perfectly square as the photos show below. I stumbled upon this after scoring a NOS diesel badge off of ebay and then realizing it was different than the one on my truck. Hopefully this helps someone out in the future when looking for the correct badges. -Cort
