Funny thing is that during the winter there is basketball practice 2 nights a week plus a game on the weekend and indoor soccer, snow removal etc. The real reason seems to be a lack of motivation over the winter months where it gets dark at 4:30 etc. The spring summer and fall is where I feel like working on the truck but just have a ton of other stuff I want/need to do. I know where you are coming from on this. I started to redo mine 3 years ago and have put it aside for now. I am working on getting my son's truck done by his 16th birthday and it has become a must do project and at times not very enjoyable...
