Scooter's 1970 K10 Build

Hello all just wanted to share my build with you. I have a k10 swb frame (not sure what year) but it has a 1970 c20 cab on it. Currently a manual but I am going to make it an automatic not sure which tranny to use either 700r4 or 4l60e I want good freeway cruising speed. I have 3.07 gears so if I have 33 inch tires I should be about 2200 rpms at 60mph. What is a good rpm? I have a 350 bored 40 over hopefully I will make enough power at the bottom end. Any thoughts? Also where can I get new leafs? And what shocks do you recommend? Should I get my axles rebuilt?
