Had to reduce the fuel pump noise on the 42

I would rather run a mechanical fuel pump any day but With the s10 frame I had no room unless I notched the frame --may do that next time on another project. Today I removed the rotary electric fuel pump and put in a solenoid type Airtex. It is 75% quieter. I am awaiting the low oil pressure switch from Airtex to finish it up. About 50 bucks total in both the switch and the solenoid pump.

I had the rotary pump isolated from the frame with a 1" thick piece of rubber matting but did not help.

A pic of alternator bracket to increase belt length. May come up with prettier later.

There are so few of us on this forum --anyone is allowed to hijack my threads here.
