Front Cab Mount Help

I am in the process of removing the drivers side cab mount so it can be replaced. While looking at the bottom of the cab, there appears to be a plate sandwiched between the actual cab mount and the floor of the pickup. This plate starts at about 3/4 of the way inboard from the door pillar, and runs under floor support that runs front to back. It is also wider than the cab mount by 6" or so. While drilling out the spot welds I got a little excited and drilled out the spot welds that attach this plate to the floor. My first question is:
- How bad have I messed up by doing this and
- Does the cab mount attach to anything else besides the floor and this plate?
Thanks for the help,
