cgster Registered User Join Date: Aug 2015 Location: Texas Posts: 324	Sending Unit Question Cleaning out my 72 C10 gas tank. I need to get a new sending unit. My question is, I have noticed that the ones I have seen ask if standard or automatic transmission. Just curious why the sending unit matters whether its auto or standard? Also, truck was originally a standard transmission but is now automatic, but still has high hump in middle with B&M shifter, just in case that matters. Thanks.
