Project Bleed isn't just for trucks.

I'll keep this simple.

Sink and countertops all 10 years old.

Disposal locked up and I guess there was enough goo crap in there it was causing the dishwasher to back up into the sink and even overflow around the door.

Awesome.

And the sink had started falling. Double Awesome.

I go to buy a new disposal, clamps to hold the sink up while it dries, and since the sink barely fits in the cabinet, instead of using glue in clamps with nuts (which had ALL fallen off already) I bought some white shelving to use to hold up each side. I did this all the night before the project was to start, thinking I had everything and this was going to save time...

Got everything torn apart. Silicone was a complete PIA to remove. It didn't want to come off of the granite.

started looking at the faucet, looks like crap. It had started pitting, etc. and it's near impossible to remove with the sink in place. Might as well replace it now...

Got to 3 different stores. No one sells a "4 piece" set anymore. The best I could find was one that has a cover to cover two of the holes. Great. Another $200. One positive there is the one I bought uses a big metal c clamp underneath so it now also functions to help hold up the center of the sink.

Almost two days of pissing around, at least 3 different trips to buy stuff, and over $400 later we have a functioning sink and dishwasher again.

This happens on every project I do
