'63 C10 Replacement Parking Brake Cables

So one of the first major projects that I am doing on my '63 is my brakes. They are totally gone, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, some brake lines, and the parking brake cables. So, I gathered some parts for the brakes and decided to start on the passenger side rear. I am having significant issues finding replacement cables for my '63. I found some on LMC, so I ordered them. Turns out that they are far too long.. the new ones are so long that they are coil-binding in-between the brakes. See the pictures for refrence from new to the old ones.. Has anyone else run into this issue?
