Door alignment help

Hi there now that my truck is moving on its own power I figure the doors need to stay shut haha. I got my driver door adjusted to where it will click twice and hold tight which is good. I still feel it's not perfect as I still have to lift a little but super close. My passenger door I'm about ready to go door list. I've read several tutorials and when I try and fix one thing it totally messes up another so was curious if anyone has suggestions. If you were to start from scratch how would you hang the door to start and where would you go from there. My side where it closes sticks out a little and I'm trying to fix that as where I'm getting all messed up. But nowhere I set the striker plate will it close right and I feel it's because it is out too far
