70 Chevy K20 door weatherstrip

I am a new member with limited computer skills so I apologize in advance for any errors. My question is: replacing my door weather stripping with a quality companys push on product has left me with hard to close doors. Before replacement both doors closed fine. I removed the new push on weatherstriping and tested both doors. Latches sound good, doors close fine. Put the new push on weatherstriping back on same problem as before. If I roll the Windows down it is better. Called the company but not much help. Maybe a member has had this happen and solved it. I'm thinking of trying another supplier. Thanks for your help.
