Hooter My other Love Join Date: Aug 2001 Location: Castlegar B.C. Canada Posts: 4,078	How can you tell the difference between a 250 and a 292? My friend has a 6 cyl in his chevy pickup (not original its out of a van because he blew up the 350 by going 85 miles an hour in second with no oil) but the 6 that is in there right now rips! we have repeadetly buried the needle with this motor and i have my suspisions that it is a 292. It has an integeral head which i have been told is only on 292.
