I don't believe it's an axle tube. This problem started when I rebuilt the rearend and added the rear CPP disc brakes. I had these wheels on with drum brakes and had no such problem. I'm pretty sure it's due to the fact that the wheels aren't centering up on the hub when I bolt them on. I'm going to pull a rotor off and bolt the wheel on and see if I still have the same problem.
