Re: 72 2wd project "No Daggum Money"

No, if you go with the 67-68 front grill you will need the 67-68 chevy fenders (or the 67-72 GMC fenders)

Good luck, it's looking good. Rg

Re: 72 2wd project "No Daggum Money"

Not as nice as yours! But step by step-dollar by dollar-some day-maybe. Still on jackstands in the backyard but shifting through gears and brakes are working and all the lights work even the reverse lights. More than I can ask for right now. That 307 sounds surprising with the headers and HEI. May sound even better with the performer and 600 Holley.

A few pics of the sway bar...
Thanks for the pics

Re: 72 2wd project "No Daggum Money"

OK- haven't done much to this build lately as we got the new house and now I have a garage. WOOHOO! So I have to move this project to its new home... I would like to weld the axle perches up but am not sure of the drive shaft angle. I am not sure I am going to lower it any more than the axle flip so I Suppose it is time. Any recommendations?

Yes, got a older restoration one at a good price. Runs great 350 - 700r, has Factory Air. Small amount of rust but really nothing much. I will paint it in a year or so. To many other projects to work on. It's going to be an excellent driver for me.

It's been around a while, I think I saw it 3 years ago at the Nationals at the Tampa Fairgrounds or at the Turkey Rod Run.

Re: 72 2wd project "No Daggum Money"

Looks like a nice one! Good job. I wonder what the pinion angle is on it?
What are your plans?
