Re: Newbie (finally!) with an R10

Did you happen to get a quote of what the shop wanted to install the bushings. I have a extra set of arms I am gonna rebuild.

Where I took mine he was charging me $10 a bushing and joint ($30 an arm), but after I picked them up from him because he was letting be paint in between removal/install and seen how they f-ed my lowers I wouldn't take them back. Merle's charges $25 an arm. I have used them before and should have for this! I have one more lead that I have to go talk to because he may press all for $50

Cool, I will probably go to Merle's. I pressed my own on my other truck and the bushings were a pain.

Re: Newbie (finally!) with an R10

Thats a great story behind the truck. I too have an R10. I had a leaky power steering hose now im stuck without a power steering pump bracket because the one that was on the truck was broken but held in place by the bolts. now i have been looking for a power steering pump bracket for 5 months and still cannot find one. So dont break yours. lol. I cant wait to see the finished product. Front end parts took awesome!
