Nice truck. Really good color too. I also like the six cylinder in the foreground. The transmission setup with the bottom hinged pedals is perfect. Note the foot pedal that actuates the starter with the linkage going over to the right. Bet there's an e-brake handle too. You could built a neat hotrod starting with that package. At least that is what I would do with it.

That's a lot more old school that what came in this step side.

Is there anyone local to it who would be willing to scope out the rust for me? There would be monetary incentive for looking and pics.

PM me, if so.

I asked the seller what the engine and transmission was from. He said 37 Chevy 1/2 ton.

Not CL, but thought this thread was the right home for this. '64 C-10 Longbed at $7,900 with four days to go on the auction...

No comment other than to say BaT seems to be great for sellers in general.

No affiliation.

It's been my opinion that they say that , but in some cases maybe that car out there gets people to visit and talk to him. Just a thought.

62 C10 SWB BBW $13.9K
The last time I saw this combo (62 swb bbw), I bought it... that was almost 10 years ago, and it still hasn't arrived! (it had a fishy title, eventually got my money back, but it was a cautionary tale of internet buying at risk. Had there not been a dealer in the transaction with a reputation to protect, I'd probably have been stuck with a very difficult-to-title sweet little 62 by a less than honest seller. Anyhoo.. Live n learn.

A '61 firetruck on the Dutch counterpart of craigslist. Nice example of a chassis/cowl built up by a Dutch coach/fire pumper company.
