Re: post your 67-72 4x4

Long time lurker, first post.
Here's my 72 K20 I've been working on the past few months. Picked it up right after New Years and I've been going through it ever since. Finally got the suspension and tires on after a lot of not so glamorous work like rebuilding the brakes, wheel bearings and seals, steering box and linkage etc. Still needs quite a bit to get back to it's former glory but it's a fun project.

10BamBam01, very nice truck! You better be careful at the strip other wise you'll break the axles. It's also nice to see another member in Iowa!

Bcash, sweet K20! I have a soft spot for orange ones, and K's.

Nothing wrong with that! I'm always looking for another one. 1 just isn't enough.

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

A recent pic hauling sod with my 70. Original engine, auto tranny have run great but hopefully an upgrade coming in the next 18 months. That and I need to replace the original leaf springs and shocks. Any suggestions on replacement suspension (I heard Tuff Country's kit was awesome) welcome!

Re: post your 67-72 4x4

I installed the tuff country ez ride 2.5 inch lift about a year ago. It has performed well. Decent ride, and it only took my son and I a day to put it in. I also upgraded to the nitro shocks.

It still looks awesome! Are those cab lights from a GMT400?
