I have a manual that covers the 1404, 1405, 1406, 1407, 1409, 1410 and 1411. I not sure what it is your looking for but if there is something I can scan and send via e-mail would that do?

Gordo, When I got my carb there was a little booklet with a graph showing the different rods and meters and what affect they would have on the % of richness or leanness. I basically would like the scan of those for the 1406, or anything you see that would be improtant info for changing these things on the carb. Thanks for any help!

I wanted to thank Gordo for helping me out! I also emailed Edelbrock and they are sending me a new manual FREE of charge. That is a pleasent suprise.

To find it, select Carburetors>Square-Bore Performer Series Carburetors. Then go down a few paragraphs and click on the red Owner's Manual link. There's a general section that applies to all the carbs, and Calibration Reference Charts for each individual carb.

Paid $1200; sold for $1500 a few years later. Just a hint at the appreciation that was coming. Retired as a factory automation products salesman. Worked part-time over the years for an engine builder and a classic car repair shop. Member here for 24 years! This is the very first car/truck Internet forum I joined. I still used a dial-up modem back then!
