I´m going to ask in the Engine & Drivetrain part and see what they say.
The way I understand it, is that you can put the distributor in any way you want and just make sure that you point the rotor to the 1st plug. *confused*

Yes that is true, I was trying to make that point in my previous post, it is relative to where you put your distributor, just put your No 1 cylinder on TDC and where it is pointing should be your no 1 spot on the cap, or if you are replacing everything just put a mark on your dist. where no 1 is so you can go back together correctly, make sense?
