Re: Shorty Burblazer

WOW I love them all. I am not crazy on orange though. Too much like a construction truck. Man black would be nice.
The barn doors are cool. Wish I had those on mine. Although sitting on the gate sometimes is handy.

Re: Shorty Burblazer

With all the work going into these burbs you would think some would get a fourth door!! I think a 4door 72 Tahoe would be great. It would take some time with a brake, shrinker and strecher but wuold be well worth it in the end!

Yes that is one bad a$$ truck! The only thing I did not like is the "B" pilar showing between the doors. On a burb pass side the doors meet and creat the body line/gap. On the one in the mag it had a slim pilar all the way down which by far is a bit easier to build. Still I would not kick it out of the garage if it happened to show up

Re: Shorty Burblazer

The crew cab you are talking about was actually a true coach built crew cab from the era. It started as a crew with four front doors. I think he improved on that design a hundred fold, but I also favor the look of the burb door setup.

A thread back from the dead.
Coincidentally, I just purchased the August '08 edition of Truck Builder that has a how to article on this very subject.
